The goal was to replace disconnected WhatsApp and customer-management processes with one centralized platform that could handle messaging, campaigns, automation, e-commerce data and team conversations reliably.
A major part of the project was integrating Meta's WhatsApp Business API for sending and receiving messages, managing approved templates, processing webhook events and sending targeted WhatsApp campaigns while tracking delivery and read activity.
I also connected the web application with a Python-based automation bot service, allowing incoming WhatsApp events to move through configurable conversation flows, product searches, automated responses and agent handoffs. The visual Flow Builder gives non-technical users control over these journeys without changing the underlying bot logic.
The platform connects directly with WooCommerce to synchronize categories and products for WhatsApp product discovery, while OpenAI adds AI-powered capabilities and Google Sheets provides customer-data synchronization. I also developed lead and campaign tracking so customer activity can be followed from a WhatsApp campaign click through product interaction, order creation and payment.
All of these systems are brought together through APIs, webhooks and backend services while the application provides a shared team inbox, customer management, campaign tools, reporting and administration through a single interface.
